Our Mission
​
Our goal is to operate a sustainable goshala where our cows are protected and provided for until the end of their lives, and that allows the cows to live peacefully and purposefully in connection with us and our community.

Our purposes are:

to make it easy for people to offer simple, selfless service to cows, and

to provide the community with an opportunity to do wholesome work with their hands on the land for the cows.

Come for a Visit
Our Goshala is located 5 minutes from the town of Lunenburg and about an hour from Halifax.

We are currently available for visits on the following days and times:
​
Fridays 4pm - 6pm
​​​
Sundays 1pm - 5pm
​

We do not allow calls on the same day of availability. Please call by Thursdays the latest.

And we do encourage visitors to bring treats to feed the cows. Some of the items they enjoy are:

gur or jaggery
apples
bananas
